Casino Life and the Table Game Grind

Casino Life and the Table Game Grind

After my previous post, I received feedback and questions on if I am really a professional gambler and my track record of success. Unfortunately, I still have a day job and I am NOT a full-time professional gambler. With that being said, I am a lifelong sports fan and gambling degenerate. It truly is my passion and obsession.

In college, I lived and breathed Poker. Everyday, I would sit at my computer and grind 5 cent / 10 cent in between WOW(World of Warcraft) raids, counterstrike scrims and DOTA matches, lulz also an addicted #gamer. There was one reading week (what we call Spring Break in Canada) where I hit the casino poker room everyday (Shoutout to Great Blue Heron Casino in Port Perry). I was a huge MMA fan, and this was the glory days of MMA, BJ Penn, Chuck Liddell, GSP #thegoat , Sakaraba, Kevin Randleman, Fedor………

Betting on MMA was truly a cakewalk in those days, I was in so deep and such a huge UFC nerd. Live sports and gambling truly is the ultimate pairing. From attending so many great concerts, sporting events, races, I am truly blessed to live this HighbrowLife.

Sports Gambling is my entertainment and side hustle (addiction). Hopefully one day I will actually be able to gamble full time and achieve my greatest dream. Please follow along to find out if I make it (Dreams Can Come True!).

Casino Report

Goal - Leave the Casino with 1 Rack (aka $1,000 Cash)

We rolled up to the casino at about 11pm on this fine Monday night in April. It was raining and gloomy out, but I had had a dream and vision the previous night about winning at the casino. Naturally, I had to bring my vision to life. With an obligatory smoke of some trees, we headed into the casino and entered the Promise Land.

I had to pay a lot of bills recently, so my bankroll had been depleted and I’m starting from the bottom, fresh, hopeful. As a true degenerate, I had been stashing money and predominantly $5 bills. In total, I managed to throw together $200 to get me started this particular night.

Start - $200 Cash IN

As a superstitious degen, I always need to do a lap around the casino to see how busy it is, what does the crowd look like, and assess what the overall vibe is. Satisfied, I headed to the Pop Craps machine to put in a shift.

Stay tuned, as I will soon be sharing my own video content to better illustrate my gambling strategy and style. In the meantime, check out this video as I implement a similar strategy and approach.

Summary

  • Bet the Come Line

  • Take the MAX odds and buy up as many numbers as you can. Nothing feels better than having all the numbers and the table loaded up with MONEY!

  • Rinse and Repeat. Enjoy the Grind.

I was feeling it today. I went on two great runs where the board was loaded up (I took all of the numbers) and a seven was not in sight.

CASH OUT - $1,000 ticket + $400 ticket = $1,400 ($200 initially in, $1,200 profit)

I am a gambler, so I decided I had to do 3 x $100 spins on roulette before I leave. I lost my two $100 spins (I played numbers inside), but my buddy hit on the $100 chip I gave him. He hit 3rd and 12 which paid $300, he gave me back my $100 chip and pocketed $200, you gotta treat your crew right! Overall, -$200 effort at the roulette table, but it was fun and this put my buddy back in the black for this visit to the casino, so we were both driving home happy.

Casino Final Ledger: +$900 profit (minus original $200 bankroll investment) but leaving with over a RACK in cash money!
