James E. Wagner Cultivation – JWC 2 Open House and Ribbon Cutting Event
James E. Wagner Cultivation invited the public and local community members to join them in celebrating the official ribbon cutting and unveiling of JWC 2, JWC’s second cultivation facility located in Kitchener, Ontario. The JWC2 facility utilizes the former Lear, car seat manufacturing plant, which is being retrofit and production expanded on a modular basis.
The whole JWC staff appeared to be at the event; warmly greeting the attendees. It was a family affair as many employees brought their friends and families, and there was a great diverse crowd from everyday locals, to business people and media (CTV). They offered Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts and the event had a really cute and truly Canadian vibe.
The CEO, Nathan Woodworth, gave a speech outlining the story of JWC and how they have grown locally in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area. This was followed by an official ribbon cutting with the Mayor of Kitchener, Berry Vrbanovic.
Following the ribbon cutting, the JWC staff gave guided tours of the JWC 2 facility. Please see my photos from the tour below:
