Mishaps of the Week

The Ontario Cannabis Stores is having order fulfillment issues!  I ordered first thing in the am on Legalization Day(via the OCS webstore) with an Order number in the 36XXX range.  I received my package 8 days later.  But I am not alone, many orders from Legalization day have still not been delivered, leaving consumers angry and not stoned or chill.

Ontario ombudsman gets more than 1,000 complaints about cannabis store

The Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC, the provincial run stores in Quebec) is having issues keeping their store shelves stocked.  In order to adjust, they have announced that the government run stores will be closed Mondays-Wednesdays until further notice.  Get your act together government, we have consumers that need to be getting high and patients that need their medicine.

Cannabis stores will only be open from Thursday to Sunday, SQDC says

Lightweight?

Is your product looking a bit light?  Complaints have been flooding the internet about cannabis orders that are weighing in far below the packaged grams.  Some Licensed Producers have stated that weight can decrease as moisture and humidity evaporate from the product.

Going forward, I will be weighing products in my reviews.  Stay Tuned!

Take a Penny, Leave a Penny

The photo above is from Toronto Pearson International Airport, where they have a “free weed” bin.  Smart stoners lolled when they saw the sign, and discreetly proceeded to see if there was any weed discarded.

 C’mon Man!  Asian Country Edition

Japan, South Korea and China have issued harsh warnings to their citizens about the risks and illegality of consuming cannabis while in Canada.  Japan and South Korea have even gone so far as warning citizens that they may face possible criminal charges and arrest upon return to their homeland.

This is so ridiculous.  Cannabis is beneficial for the body and mind.  I urge these countries to take additional consideration and realize that the plant will win.  The social consciousness still needs to continue to evolve and become accustomed to mainstream cannabis.

As an Asian Canadian, I can understand the mindset and lack of understanding that the elder Asian generation has towards cannabis.  Ultimately, we need to shift their mindset by educating them, using responsibly and letting them see firsthand the positive benefits. But C’MON MANNNNNNNNN!
