Sunday 4:45pm
The excitement is real, Game 7 is here! Can the Raptors get it done tonight and advance to the East Conference Finals? I being my transition from regular citizen to Raptors fanatic.
The anticipation and anxiety is too much. I pack a bowl of Zombie Kush, as it is a great deep indica strain to address the stress.
5:00pm – Depart for Downtown and Pre-Game Beers
I proceed to take the streetcar downtown, and crush a couple tall boys in the park. There are lots of people around in Raptors gear and I can feel a palpable energy in the air.
6:30pm – Arrive at the Air Canada Centre
As is proper, the boys grabbed two tall cans and headed to our seats for the anthem and player introductions. Game Time!
7:50pm – “Tony Brothers POINT SHAVES!!!”
The crowd is pumped up but also getting very chippy and critical of the referees. The Toronto fans know their shit and there is nothing I enjoy more than hearing fans jeer with accusations of point shaving.
8:20pm – Halftime 44-40 for Toronto
Much like the rest of the crowd, I am very restless and nervous going into half. After many heartbreaks and disappointment, I don’t know if my spirit can handle another crushing defeat.
In my opinion, the best way to handle anxiety is to medicate and get some munchies. Like the veteran that I am, I sprung into action. Consoled by two additional tall boys, I was officially feeling LIT!

9:31pm – 90-90 with 4.2 Seconds on the Clock
Holy shit, this is absolutely insane. We need this final shot, give the ball to Kawhi and let’s let it ride!
Clang, Clang, Clang, Clang...................OMG YAY WOWOWOW!
9:33pm – Mayhem Abound, It’s a Party!
This is how life should feel all the time. I am jumping and leaping with joy. I am hugging and high 5ing randoms. I am standing on the stadium seats and doing a ridiculous dance.
This was an unforgettable moment. Kawhi is a beast and a straight Terminator.
Game 7, Set, Match - Raps Win!
10:00pm – Burning a Joint in Jurrasic Park
It is time to medicate and celebrate with the people. I sparked a Liiv 1g pre-roll (Easy Cheesy, Hybrid) that I had purchased from a dispensary earlier in the day. New friends and old friends communed alike under the spell of pure joy and exhilaration.
Conclusion – “It’s a bad day to be a Sixers fan!!!!”
