AHLOT Presents Greenman Acres Craft Reserve - Mother of Berries OG Review
The Greenman Acres Craft Reserve is the Ontario Cannabis Store Limited Drop / Limited Release model in action, coming out of the gate with only 1,000 hand selected 3.5g units released in the Ontario market.
Being in the midst of continued lockdowns and in advance of the summer, this was a much needed and a particularly poignant drop. As a fan of AHLOT, I was excited to see what they are presenting to the market with their offering. This product is considered “craft” as it was hand trimmed, hang dried and hand packaged. With each package being compromised of one massive nug (top colas only) and protected with an Integra Boost pack (55% RH), is this truly the Mother of Berries (OG)?
Greenman Acres is an outdoor grow based on the shores of the Georgian Bay. How does this strain express it’s beauty and how does the Georgian Bay terrior add to the richness and flavour of this sweet Mother? You can check out Greenman Acres here.
I picked this up in person (support your local retail cannabis community) and the staff very excitedly dispensed my order. They mentioned to check which out of the 1,000 units my Jar was labelled. For $48.95 (~$14/g), I rushed home to photograph this beauty and test her out.

Bag Appeal
I popped the jar to release the Mother of Berries OG from her chamber. Upon release, I took a whiff of her sweet sweet fragrance. Anchored in cederene and beta-caryophyllene, this beauty has a deep earthy sweet scent, mixing pine, tree, and cedar smells with a spicy and pepper twist. Overall, I would say the smell was good, but not super pungent or deeply memorable.
It was great to see that they included an Integra Boost pack to protect the product and preserve quality to market. These ladies would have been harvested in the fall of 2020, so I am happy to see the care and thoughtfulness that is put into bringing this higher positioned typed craft product to market.
The nug that was in my jar was a beauty. She was well trimmed with a dense tight bud structure. When I pinched the nug, it was a bit dry and didn’t have as much resistance and spring as I was hoping, but it was overall a solid bud that I appreciated.
Overall Experience
The Mother of Berries OG hit me with a nice chill with relaxing body high. It came on strong and fast as I smoked a one gram fatty to myself. The high did not last incredibly long, so I rolled up another 0.5g for posterity and to really dive deeper into the experience. I think the high was enjoyable and a great ride, but not as powerful or transcendent as I was hoping for, due to the short half-life.
Regardless, I ended up ordering a large pizza from Pizzaville and I was a happy camper. This was a perfect treat during these stressful COVID times, and sometimes you just need to get baked and order a pizza #classic #simplethings
I did enjoy this product and I give kudos to AHLOT and Greenman Acres for delivering on a great limited release that I enjoyed and I am happy to have tried. I will definitely be on board to try their next drop.
Stay strong out there and 2021 is getting better. 2021 is the year for cannabis.
