Carmel Cannabis - Studio 54 - 3.5 gram Review
It was one of those days. I was feeling blue and needed a pick me up. Luckily, it was also Delivery Day and we had ordered a bunch of new release SKUs from the Ontario Cannabis Store. With the new Carmel arriving, the choice was easy. I eagerly waited until lunch and paired this with some amazing Pork Souvlaki (grilled pork shoulder), potatoes and Greek Salad, LFG……this is living.

Bag Appeal
As I hold the bag, I can smell a faint gassiness through the plastic. Upon cracking the bag open, I get a strong waft of a sweet, gassiness with a hint of pepper and earthiness. When I grind the bud up I can definitely smell an additional deeper note / layer of sweetness.
The package contained 5 medium to smallish sized buds. They are dense, but have a nice overall squish to them. On the outer layer, they don’t feel very sticky, but do have a glean to them. When I rolled a joint, the grind did slightly stick to the paper and had an overall good level of fluffiness and an adequate level of moisture.
The Experience and Other Half Baked Thoughts:
The high felt good and energetic from the start. It is not an overwhelming high, but definitely more of get out and run errands or clean the house type of high. I felt fully functional but satisfied and happy. While the high lacks that high end silliness and giggles, it more than makes up for it with its lack of burnout and continued energy. This strain and effects might pair well with gambling, more to come.
As a longtime Carmel fan, I always grab a pack whenever we get a shipment of a new Carmel SKU (FYI, I have picked up their new 2g hash SKU and I will try to compose my thoughts on it). I enjoyed Studio 54, but it did not blow me away. Regardless, I am happy to have tested it out and I will at some point purchase it again and see if I still feel the same way.
