Pure Sunfarms Pennywise 1:1 Full Spectrum 510 Vape Review
Welcome to Fall………
School is back in session, Croptober is here and Thanksgiving is around the corner.
With the Fall upon us, it is time to take care of business and get back on that grind. Naturally, I am looking for products to dial in my high and maximize my productivity. As a long time proponent of CBD and balanced products, this full spectrum vape cart stood out to me as the ideal daytime and working smoke.
PLEASE NOTE, from a marketing perspective, each LP may have a potentially different definition when it comes to claims and terms such as a “full spectrum” extract. Always do your research and educate yourself on what you are consuming, one to protect your own health, but also to understand the important nuances in order to compare and contrast effects.
The challenge with the term “full spectrum” is that it has no agreed and accepted definition. Unlike the term “organic” which has a certification/designation process, and agreed-upon criteria, the term “full spectrum” is open to debate/trickery. There is no official criteria.
The Pure Sunfarms full spectrum cannabis oil was never reformulated and nothing was added to the final product (this includes no flavouring agents, botanical terpenes or thinning agents).
This 510 cart was processed and extracted in-house at the Pure Sunfarms(PSF) facility in British Columbia. Utilizing CO2 extraction, this product is single strain powered by the classic and familiar pennywise strain. Pennywise is a 1:1 balanced strain that is noted for its earthy and sweet notes.

Half(Balanced) Baked Thoughts
I do appreciate that PSF has a lot of information on their website to explain how they define full spectrum and explaining their stance. I appreciate when an LP takes steps to provide more information to the consumer and takes the initiative to offer up information and education for discussion and consideration.
I purchased this vape cart at Docks Cannabis in Bobcaygeon for $32.95 plus tax. I ripped this vape cart out of the mylar bag/pouch packaging, and immediately fired her up. I was hit with that familiar earthy and grassy type taste. The taste was not overpowering and can only be described as classic, in a non-polarizing and flat kind of way.
The cart had solid construction, but my one gripe is that the vape was constantly getting clogged in between uses. This is a huge annoyance and would require me taking the biggest reefs and pulls to pull the clog through, or digging at the mouthpiece with a paperclip. This is not uncommon with carts containing CBD or cheaper carts, but does still suck to be struggling when in need of a massive vape cloud.
The high from this balanced cart was what I was expecting. It takes the edge off and brings a modest comforting softness, while fueling me with the CBD energy and glow. It is ideal for completing mundane and daily tasks, while still having your head in the game and harnessing those creative juices. I was feeling back in balance and ready to keep hustling.
Another day and another cart sipped on and drained.
