What is Live Flower?
To best answer the question above, let’s first answer what is fresh frozen flower?
Apex (or the ultimate peak) cannabis is when the plant is just reaching full bloom. In order to capture the magic and essence of this peak state, the cannabis flower is immediately harvested and undergoes the process of becoming fresh frozen flower. This process normally includes flash freezing the fresh harvested cannabis, but there are various processes, and very specific SOPs (standard operating procedures) with meticulous handling, storage and ambient temperature requirements.
Fresh frozen cannabis is generally used as the input for bubble hash, and subsequently “live” hash rosin, or “live” resin. These class of products are described as live because they are made from fresh frozen inputs.
Live Flower is fresh frozen cannabis that has now undergone a further process of drying (removing the excess moisture) and curing. At harvest, fresh cannabis is generally around 80% water and moisture. This is why cannabis is normally hang dried and possibly cured, to ensure that the smoking experience is possible(by removing the moisture) and as smooth and clean as possible.

The Construction

These pre-rolls are jam packed with live flower as well as infused with live resin THCA crumble / diamonds. Mixing the live flower and live resin, this product boasts an abundance of terpenes and a plethora of flavours.
The coolest part of the Bloom Roll is definitely the beeswax filter, which contains wildflower seeds. With a super cool heart as the air-hole for the filter, you are definitely encouraged to flick the filter anywhere in nature as these rolls are totally biodegradable and sustainable. AMAZING!
My Thoughts
The preroll smoked nice, burned even and it was an overall chill and enjoyable smoke. As a longtime concentrates smoker and dabber, I love the familiar comfort and incredible tastes that come from live products. The high was a nice cerebral high accompanied by a nice body buzz and energy charge. It gave me a nice springtime type of high, where I want to walk around and just feel the vibes and be one with nature and the changing of the seasons.
Verdict
I will definitely smoke one of these again!
